AmnioAMP-MP is a dehydrated amniotic membrane sheet , serving as a protective covering and barrier to aid in wound therapy. It is processed with minimal manipulation and is chorion-free , allowing it to retain the qualities of the native extracellular matrix (ECM) and essential structural proteins. AmnioAMP-MP is an allograft derived from amniotic tissue recovered from healthy mothers who have undergone full-term delivery. The donated tissue is screened according to strict FDA regulations and AATB standards and undergoes E-Beam sterilization for safety, achieving a sterility assurance level (SAL) of 10−6. Intended as a protective barrier for soft tissue , it is used for conditions like diabetic, venous, and pressure ulcers, as well as wounds with exposed anatomy.
